About the role

Greenhouse construction never stands still – and neither do we. At Dutch Agro Systems, we work on smart and innovative systems for the international greenhouse horticulture sector. Over the past few years, we have worked hard to develop a completely new roof system. It has already been successfully applied in multiple projects, and demand is growing fast. It’s time to expand our team!

As a Project Engineer at DAS, you will play a key role in our projects. You turn smart ideas into reality. You develop technical designs, prepare materials for procurement, and keep a close eye on quality control. Everything is neatly organized in our ERP system. From design to delivery, you are involved every step of the way. No day is the same – and that’s what makes it exciting!

What you will do

• Develop technical designs further (AutoCAD, Inventor)
• Prepare procurement and production efficiently
• Monitor quality and identify opportunities for improvement
• Manage processes in our ERP system to keep everything on track
• Contribute ideas, take initiative, and be involved in projects from A to Z

You’re our ideal candidate if you:

• Have completed MTS Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
• Are skilled in AutoCAD and 3D design (e.g., Inventor)
• Are confident with Excel
• Communicate well in both Dutch and English
• Have experience with ERP systems (or are willing to learn)

Dutch Agro Systems (DAS) is a developer and manufacturer of aluminum deck and facade systems. What makes our systems so unique is the research and know-how that has gone into them. The developer of our systems has decades of experience and is happy to pass this on to all employees within DAS. As a result, our knowledge is never lost, but we also continue to develop constantly.

We are looking for an inquisitive and hard worker to expand our team.  As an all-round production employee, you are partly responsible for flawless production. You are results-oriented, independent and enjoy working with machines. You feel at home in a dynamic environment and doing many different tasks is no problem for you.    

Your tasks at a glance:

• Working independently as an operator on various      metalworking machines..
• Preparing the machines and materials for starting production.
• Ensure that the machines run correctly and as productively as possible.
• Recognizing faults and solving simple faults yourself.
• Taking care of maintenance of machines.
• Checking the products that are ready.
• At certain times we scale up production and the number of employees and you are partly responsible for managing a small team of temporary workers.
